How Using Play Therapy Can Support the Children in Your Communities

Play therapy is not merely an intervention for individual children; it is an investment in the health of the systems that surround them. When children are given developmentally appropriate, emotionally safe spaces to play, they gain more than symptom relief; they gain powerful tools that support them throughout their lifespans and across their internal and external systems. Through play, children communicate what cannot yet be spoken, regulate their nervous systems, work through stress and trauma, and discover a growing sense of competence and self-trust.
